  • Rodney's Oyster House

This place has the best oysters I have eaten so far. It is their specialty and famous for and that is right!! They have a lot of different types of oysters depending on the season. We didn't know what type of oysters to get so we asked the waitress for suggestions. She recommended some selection and we went ahead. We got a dozen of assorted and we couldn't remember which type was which on the plate. We were able to narrow down that our favourite one was the Katama Bay Edgarton from Martha's Vineyard, MA. They were big and so delicious!!

They come with 5 different type of sauce to go with the oysters ranging from vinegar to very spicy.

We also got the seafood soup. Its very light tasting compared to seafood chowder. The soup was ok, I think I will try the chowder next time.

We were still hungry so we ordered the soft shell crab with sweet potato fries. This was excellent...very crunchy.

I would definitely go back for the oysters.. mmm.. thinking of it is making me hungry again. But be prepared to wait for a long time for the oysters to come. I'm not sure why it takes so long to serve but it did.
